About Dennis Size

Dennis M Size (Resident Lighting Designer for Ballet Theatre of Scranton) is a  Scranton Prep graduate, with two B.A.'s from the University of Scranton, Dennis attended Penn State for his M.F.A in Scenery & Lighting Design.  His international design repertoire includes theater, dance, soap operas, television talk shows, news magazines, government projects, Olympics, corporate facilities, live events, concerts, sporting events, political conventions, Presidential debates, awards shows and the latest broadcast 'craze'-- Internet web sites.


He has designed the lighting for productions on every major television and cable network, and is currently designing the broadcast/architectural lighting for the Oval Office, along with several other major state rooms on the first floor of the White House.  Having written for trade journals and taught at several Universities, he received the prestigious "Frank J. O'Hara Alumni Award in Arts & Letters" from the University of Scranton. He has been nominated for the EMMY Award 11 times and has won four.
